What type of treatment can I receive for my Mental Health?
There are two types of Outpatient Programming at Balanced Recovery Center:
-Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
-Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
These programs offers structured, therapist-led care several days per week for people affected by a mental health issues that does not require inpatient. They differ based on the level of services offered and the hours per week that you are elligible to receive. Contrary to the name, Partial Hospitalized Program does not have anything to do with the hospital.
Who Can Benefit from PHP and IOP programs?
Intensive Outpatient programs are especially helpful for individuals who:
recently discharged, or are about to discharge, from an inpatient program, who do not want to backslide into old patterns of behavior.
want more access to therapeutic support throughout the week to maintain wellness
want to meet people with similar shared experience and create community
want a "wellness bootcamp" that provides the highest level of treatment in the shortest duration of time.
would benefit from daily structure due to having time off from school, work, or other daily obligations.
FAQs about our PHP and IOP programs at Balanced Recovery Center
Yes! Insurance companies will cover our services depending on the benefits you are elligible for. If you are not sure, fill out a no-obligation web referral on our website and we will check your insurance in minutes!
In many cases, your state will pay you directly while you are in day treatment with us! We will walk you through the process in applying for this and complete the paperwork with you! If you cannot take time off from daily responsibilities, no problem! We offer treatment throughout the day, and can typically accomodate most schedules.
You will arrive and be encouraged to begin your therapeutic healing process in whatever way makes sense to you, based on YOUR needs. Some days you may choose to join a few folks for therapeutic connection and sharing of stories. Other days you may choose to focus on independent skills work, or engage in a mind-body regulation activity. Food and drinks are available to you throughout the day, and lunch may be ordered based on the day. At some point during the day you may also choose to focus on an individual issue with your clinician. We are also always available by telehealth when coming on site is not an option for whatever reason.
Our programs are entirely voluntary, but to remain elligible for services through your insurance companies, there is a minimum per week of services that you must utilize. We will work with you to make sure that we are able to accomodate your schedule but keep you elligible.
Your privacy is very important to us. All information shared during treatment at Balanced Recovery Center is protected by federal confidentiality laws, including HIPAA (the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and 42 CFR Part 2, which specifically protects the privacy of individuals receiving substance use disorder treatment.
The goal of our treatment program is to get you ready for discharge. Therefore, you may often hear that "discharge planning begins on day 1", which is to say, we are always discussing your life AFTER the program ends. Of course, as you get closer to the end of programming, we want to make sure you have a solidified aftercare plan that includes your next care or service location. We recommend general outpatient and community meetings for most individuals, and we will help you get these services in place prior to discharge.
